I have a problem with the NFS mount during the configuration. I have the following servers:

1 NFS server in the LAN ( with the following definition in the exports file: /vashare *(rw,no_root_squash,sync,no_subtree_check)

1 FILR appliance in the DMZ ( I want to install

At the point of configuring shared storage, the appliance doesn't see any remote directory on this NFS server (, but can see the directory on another NFS server (
(exports file on /vashare *(rw,no_root_squash,sync,no_subtree_check))

I have an old 1.01 appliance (DMZ: and this one can mount the NFS volume of the new NFS Server (

slesnfs.bbz-biel.ch:/vashare on /test type nfs4 (rw,relatime,vers=4,rsize=524288,wsize=524288,naml en=255,hard,proto=tcp,port=0,timeo=600,retrans=2,s ec=sys,clientaddr=,minorversion=0,loc al_lock=none,addr=

Both NFS Servers are on SLES11 SP3 and have NFS V4, no server firewall active.

The firewall ports are OK as I can mount the volumes on the old server.

I don't understand why the old FILR appliance can mount the volume form the new NFS server, and the new appliance not from the new one but from the old one.

Do I have to change the configuration for the volume on the new NFS?

I'm really stuck on this as I can't continue with the installation.
