We are about to migrate from Groupwise 8 to 2014. We have mostly Windows clients but also a small number of Linux Workstations. What client program are Linux users supposed to use?

- The Groupwise 8 Client is still usable but it becomes more and more difficult to get it run on modern Linux Distributions, there are major stability issues. Not to mention the benefits of new features in Groupwise 2014.

- The Groupwise plugin for Evolution seems to be abandoned, Groupwise accounts aren't supported any more in modern versions of Evolution

- Groupwise web access, although it has been improved in 2014, isn't a full replacement for a real client program. There are too much features missing.

Unfortunately Groupwise doesn't support CalDAV/CardDAV in the year 2015, otherwise it would be possible to use Thunderbird with Lightning.
