Our first Net Folder is going live, and there are problems with e-mail notifications that I can't track down.

On Friday, I configured this Net Folder via "Subscribe others to folder" to send e-mail to specific group each time a change occurs. First couple of tests indicated that it worked. Today, some new files were added to this Net Folder and some were deleted. I did some of this myself, some files via Filr web interface and some directly on the network drive. No e-mails went out after these actions.

This problem only concerns change notifications about Net Folder. Other e-mails ("someone has shared an item with you", "here is your forgotten password reset link" etc) are going fine. The sent e-mails report in administration console does not show that any attempt to send a notification has been made. Our Filr appliance is configured to send out mail via our corporate mail server, and logs of that server do not show connection attempts from the Filr appliance at times the changes were made in the Net Folder.

I have looked at various Filr logs (appserver.log, catalina.out, famtd.log) and only suspicious thing is a lot of messages like this in famtd.log:

Code:

Looks like some rights are missing somewhere, but where? The Net Folder Proxy user has RWCEMFA rights to this Net Folder. It also has RWCEMFA rights to the root of volume where this Net Folder resides, Read right to All Attributes of the file server eDirectory object and Read right to ACL attribute of [root], as specified in the docs.

Where else to look?
