Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone,

A colleague asked me to help him install Designer 4.02 on the spanking
new OpenSuse 13.1 64 bit. We managed to get him running pretty fast but
the system crashes a lot. For instance when you refresh the connection
on an Identity Vault's properties and you then choose 'OK' or 'Cancel'.

What does work:
- import a project from SVN
- import a project from the IdVault

Once the eclipse instance crashes there is no mention of the crash in
the View -> 'error log' but there is a stacktrace mentioning stuff going
wrong in libgobject-2. 0. It seems it's doing eclipse things with
drawing of the screen.

I fully understand this is not supported but it would be nice if it
worked sorta..

I was wondering if:
- Anyone is successfully running on OpenSUsE 13.1?
- Anyone has a clue as to what could be the problem?
- Will this ever be semi-supported on newer version of Linux or is
Designer heading to Windows only eventually?
