Hi together,

tried now for several days to resolve that and I gave up.

All happens in designer.
I export 3.5 drivers and import them in a new project with 4.0.2 IDVault
environment
Then I open the properties/packages and create a new package. I click
apply before I close the driver. All looks fine
Add the policies to the package
open the package properties go to the initialize Settings, populate from
template and chosse the imported 3.5 driver
still fine
then I generate driver/update prompts.
I can deploy a new driver out of that package all looks fine.

After I add an Initialize settings prompt deploy an driver again, then
the driver configuration/driver parameters are destroyed.
The same happens if I do not use the initialize settings prompt but if I
publish/release the package and import it in a new project.

I MANUALLY CHANGED THE FORMAT OF THE ENTRIES (AND ALL FOLLOWING)

shim-config-info-xml>
<driver-config name="Delimited Text">
<driver-options>
<field-delimiter display-name="Field
Delimiter:">;</field-delimiter>

TO THE FORMAT

shim-config-info-xml>
<driver-config name="Delimited Text">
<driver-options>
<configuration-values>
<definitions>it in desingner or the xml file directl
<definition display-name="Field Delimiter:"
name="field-delimiter" type="string">
<value>,</value>
</definition>

but same prolems wen I change it in the userinterface of designer. If I
change it in the XML file directly I get an xml error if I want to
import it back into the project.

Hope I explained my problem that it can be understood.

thanks
