Hello,

So I got a bit further than my last post. I've done the following.
Installed a SLES11SP2 64 bit server. Installed 64 bit eDirectory from
the IDM 4.0.2 media. Created a tree with the follwing command:

Code:
--------------------

/opt/novell/eDirectory/bin/ndsconfig new -t IDVTREE -S srvidv01 -n ou=srvidv01.ou=system.o=top -a cn=admin.o=top -w **********

--------------------

So far so good. Server object is there and rcndsd status show everything
is good. I then install IDM with this command:

Code:
--------------------

/install.bin -i silent -f /path/install.properties

--------------------

Above file says to install IDM and iManager. The installation goes
through. Now I want to configure the installation with this command:

Code:
--------------------

/configure.bin -i silent -f /path/configure_existing_tree.properties

--------------------

The file looks like this:

Code:
--------------------

The configuration fails when it attempts to create the driverset. The
log says this:

Code:
--------------------

LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/media/IDM4.0.2_Lin/install/utilities" "/media/IDM4.0.2_Lin/install/utilities/ldapmodify" -ZZ -h -p 389 -D "cn=admin,o=top" -w ****** -a -c -f "/tmp/idm_existing_tree_create_driverset.ldif"
exitValue = 1

--------------------

So I try and run this command manually:

Code:
--------------------

/media/IDM4.0.2_Lin/install/utilities/ldapmodify -ZZ -h -p 389 -D cn=admin,o=top -w ****** -a -c -f /tmp/idm_existing_tree_create_driverset.ldif

--------------------

I get this error:

Code:
--------------------

error while loading shared libraries: libladsdk.so.0

--------------------

According to Google, I need to run this command to set the path again:

Code:
--------------------

. /opt/novell/eDirectory/bin/ndspath

--------------------

So I run it, and attempt to run the ldapmodify once more. Now I get this
error:

Code:
--------------------

error while loading shared libraries: libldapsdk.so.0: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64

--------------------

Now according to Google, this happens when you attempt to install a 32
bit application on a 64 bit system. Both the server and eDirectory are
64 bit(I doublechecked), and I am not installing something, just doing
an ldap modify.

Any suggestions?

Jacob.
