Hi there,
I working with the Delimited Text driver ver 3.5.4 and IDM 4.0.2 & eDir
8.8.7. I've noticed that on the publisher side, if I include an Irish
fada over a vowel that I get a syntax violation in the trace. iManager
can successfully add these characters to a user object. These letters
are common in the language for peoples names. I've tried to use a
Replace-all token in the Publisher Input Transform but no luck.

The initial NDS document contains Description contains a single
character created by holding down Shift-Ctl-Alt-a.

<field name="Description"></field>
And is always the same regardless of , , or capital versions.

The rule is:
16:31:19 TextDriver PT: Applying rule 'Input Transformation - Check for
illegal characters'.
16:31:19 TextDriver PT: Action:
do-reformat-op-attr("Description",token-replace-all("","A",token-local-variable("current-value"))).
16:31:19 TextDriver PT:
arg-string(token-replace-all("","A",token-local-variable("current-value")))
16:31:19 TextDriver PT:
token-replace-all("","A",token-local-variable("current-value"))
16:31:19 TextDriver PT:
token-replace-all("","A",token-local-variable("current-value"))
16:31:19 TextDriver PT: token-local-variable("current-value")
16:31:19 TextDriver PT: Token Value: "".
16:31:19 TextDriver PT: Arg Value: "".
16:31:19 TextDriver PT: Token Value: "".
16:31:19 TextDriver PT: Arg Value: "".
[ these are black diamonds with a question mark in them]

Any thoughts?
Kirk
