I was wondering if there are any suggestions on a process for developing
rules in AGS. Out-of-the-box it appears that most rule development
happens in a text box window, without any modern day conveniences like

I've tried referencing my ags.jar in a java project, using a third party
IDE, and then writing up my rule in a class method. This helps confirm
that my includes are correct and my class names are spelled right, but I
can't run it to confirm the logic. This makes it a bit difficult to
debug the rules. I know I can enable logging through log4j, but it's a
cycle to update the rule, update where it's used, then get it to run,
then go check the log.

Any suggestions for streamlining the dev process? Any hints on what
you've found works best for you?
