Hello everyone,

Our eDirectory tree has been around since NetWare 4.11 and has had
many schema extensions over the years I'd like to remove some of the
unused classes just do some house cleaning.

I am fairly confident that each of these classes is unused but when
dealing with schema I'd love some feedback. (No responsbility is
obviously held by any who respond but just looking for a little
confirmation) I can't belive in 17 years I haven't done this before.

These are the classes I'm looking at - We no longer run any APC,
BkupExec, Kaspersky AV, Netmail/Novonyx on servers using our eDirectory
tree.

APCUPSPC:UPC
BkupExec:JobQueue
BkupExec:JobServer
klabAntiVirus
NeMailCAPAgent
NetMailResource
NMS:ConnMgr Agent
NMS:List
NMS:ListAgent
NMS:ListContainer
NMS:ListUser
NMS:etc. etc.
NIMSAntiVirusAgent
NIMSCalendarAgent
NIMSSignupModule
Novonyx:Adressbook Agent
Novonyx:Alias Agent
Novonyx:AntiSpam Agent
Novonyx:etc. etc.

Once I go through this successfully, I'll be removing our old Zenworks
For Desktops objects from the tree and removing their schema classes as
well. Isn't there a list somwhere of the schema classes for Novell
install products? That way when you stop using a product you can remove
the objects and schema classes from the tree.

I know that the schema isn't large but it still seems to make sense from
a management perspective to remove unused classes to keep the attributes
list shorter to used products.

Thanks,
-Nyle
