    Hiding button icons...

    a customer desires all the icons on buttons to be hidden.

    It appears, from code similar to this in all .jsp's ( <pwm: if
    test="showIcons"> that there should be some way to "hideIcons"
    ======
    <pwm:if test="showCancel">
    <button style="visibility:hidden;" type="button" name="button"
    class="btn" id="button_cancel"
    onclick="PWM_MAIN.handleFormCancel();return false">
    <pwm:if test="showIcons"><span class="btn-icon fa
    fa-backward"></span></pwm:if>
    <pwmisplay key="Button_Cancel"/>
    </button>
    ======

    Is it possible to globally disable the display of the icons on buttons?
    If so, how?

    Bump?

    More info... so, looking at the above, if I go in and configure the
    system to NOT show the cancel buttons, it puts the following into the
    SSPRConfiguration.xml file:

    <setting key="display.showCancelButton" syntax="BOOLEAN"
    syntaxVersion="0" modifyTime="2015-02-19T20:49:49Z">
    <value>false</value>
    </setting>

    If I change it back to default (i.e. "show the cancel button) it changes
    the value to TRUE, but leaves this in the config file.

    So shouldn't there be an equivalent available for "showIcons"?

    Even if I can't enter it in the admin GUI, I should be able to enter a
    parameter to over ride the default which is to "show the icons", right?

    Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

    The easiest way is to use css:

    ..btn-icon {
    display: none;
    }

    As they say down under, "Buggah! That was easy, Mate!"

    I added this to my custom theme's "style.css" file, and at first glance
    it appears to have done exactly what I wanted with no adverse effects.
    Thanks, Jason!

    Followup... The alignment of the "Logout" and "Home" buttons is
    staggered. I will remedy by not showing the home button (as we want all
    access to go to components of SSPR, never to the Home Page) ... but wonder:

    Is there an equally simple .css solution to this alignment issue? (I'll
    experiment... but known solutions appreciated.)
