I do not know if this is something anybody h as tried. The simple
answer is to backup the mongodb files, though they are almost certainly
larger than the data contained within (they preallocate disk space
automatically) so some of the options here MAY be useful:

You'll also need to save the Security Intelligence dashboard
definitions, and hope that they can be imported elsewhere with the data
copied from mongodb properly. Considering how most links between things
use UUIDs I'd be a little surprised if this worked perfectly. It may be
best to just have a filesystem backup of everything Sentinel that can be
dropped in as one big unit should recovery be necessary, and of course
test that process regularly to ensure it works as you plan.
