It may help to understand more of your business case leading you to try
to access the files with PHP. The files are, I believe, in the format
behind Lucene and all of the data storage in Sentinel is open source so
finding a way to do it is probably possible, but it will not be
supported, could void other support, and likely something that's harder
than it must be. If you want to query data from some other reporting
engine (something PHP-based included) you could setup Sentinel to
forward the event data to an external database to then be queried
however you saw fit.
