Let's say I have a collector that pulls data from a source and according
to its cache or maximum pulled events, the number of events PER SECOND
is much larger. How the collector or connectors will deal with that?
I understand each collector/connector pair has its own limit of events
per instance so please consider I am asking about how offset will deal
with that.
If "time" had or has the decimal fraction of a second, I understand that
is not an issue because what it is displayed on UI is not exactly what
it is written on logical program.

By the way, when we have offset related to time, is the logical equal to
all types of collectors/connectors?

I am asking that as a general question but my concern is related to
Oracle DB or any database connector/collector situation.
