I have been trying to get snmp working for my GroupWise 2014 agents running on Windows server 2012 R2.
I know snmp queries in general are working, as I am able to query the server with a Read only Community string and find CPU info and such. However, when I verify that the MTA says:
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP): Enabled (index 1)
From the web interface, I get the following when trying to query an OID for the mtaTotalDomains - .1.3.6.1.4.1.23.2.37.1.1.1.3

7/27/2015 11:22:10 AM (6 ms) : SNMP V2c
7/27/2015 11:22:10 AM (8 ms) : Custom OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.23.2.37.1.1.1.3
7/27/2015 11:22:10 AM (14 ms) : -------
7/27/2015 11:22:10 AM (16 ms) : Value: No Such Name (SNMP error # 2)
7/27/2015 11:22:10 AM (18 ms) : Done

It will not return a value.
While a simple system description OID of .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0 will return good data as follows:

7/27/2015 11:26:37 AM (13 ms) : SNMP V2c
7/27/2015 11:26:37 AM (17 ms) : Custom OID .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0
7/27/2015 11:26:37 AM (26 ms) : -------
7/27/2015 11:26:37 AM (30 ms) : Value: Hardware: Intel64 Family 6 Model 37 Stepping 1 AT/AT COMPATIBLE - Software: Windows Version 6.3 (Build 9600 Multiprocessor Free)
7/27/2015 11:26:37 AM (35 ms) : Done

I've tried recycling both the snmp Windows service and restarting the MTA. In the MTA configuration I have specified the same "snmp community "Get" string" as what is specified in the Windows Read Only Community Name.

At a loss for what to try or where to look at this point.
