In order to to necessary maintenance work without going offline for too
much time I am experimenting with with the enable/disable write command
on ncpcon. The disable part seems to work fine on the mounted volume.
Users will still have access through NCP but are not allowed to change
anything. Now when I issue
# ncpcon enable write TEST Files on this volume can now be edited.
.... Executing "enable write TEST Files on this volume can now be edited."

(again on the active and mounted volume) the command will not terminate
and seemingly just hangs.
Did anybody use the "enable write" command with success on NCS volumes?
Do I have to deactivate the volume or pool first?
