We moved to our Identity Manager to new servers, with new host name and
different IP address, but was unable to connect to upstream or
downstream data sources, after network team added new firewall rule, the
downstream driver can connect to other LDAP server, but updstream JDBC
driver still cannot connect to PeopleSoft, I verified connection input
is correct, network team swear they saw the traffic between new server
and PeopleSoft server.

Is there a way I can verify the connection is working in one of the
Novell tools, just like the database tool before completing new
connection setup, I can verify if the connection is success?
