Bidirectional eDirectory driver crashes connected system

Hi, i have setup a bidirectional eDirectory driver, that is only
synchronizing eDir->Vault, nothing goes back in the subscriber channel.

When migrating into vault (990 Groups, 7800 users), the Groups migrate
fine, but during user migration NDSD on the connected system crashes
after a while, with no messages in trace level 3 or nds.log except for
tracing Connection lost on the IDM side. I was digging around in log
files and finally found in /var/logs/messages that lbctmalloc_minimal.so
had a general protection IP. this occurs at every crash.

    The server is a virtual OES 11 sp2, with eDir 8.8 sp8, 4 gB ram, it's a
read-write replica with 4.0.1 DirXml changelog, it's only purpose is to
provide data to the IDM server, which is a 4.0.2.

Trace logs are quite useless in this case, as they show nothing else
than Connection lost, the problem occurs on the connected system side.

I'm only syncing users and Groups.

    Code:
    --------------------
    User Attributes:
    UniqueID
    UID
    Surname
    OU
    nspmDistributionPassword
    Internet Email address
    Group membership
    given name
    Full name
    Email Address
    Description
    CN

    Group attributes:
    member
    Description
    CN
    --------------------

    Any helt would be appreciated.

I have no clue of what might have triggerd this. To me it sounds like a
SR if you need it up quick.

Another option could be to cahange driver to the LDAP driver if you
    don't need password sync.

    Cheers

Unfortunately the passwords must be synchronized, there is a windows
    server with AD connected aswell.

I will keep digging and guess i have to send a core dump for analysis.

    Thanx

Be SURE you are on the latest patch; you said 4.0.1 version, but 4.0.1.1
    at least is available:
