Greetings,

IDM 4.0.2.5
Notes Driver 4.0.0.4
Lotus Notes version 8.5.2

My client would like to set the ACLs on a user's mailfile to allow the
user's manager to access the mailfile when the user is removed from
Lotus Notes. The driver code does not delete the mailfile when the user
is deleted. My problem is the code to set the ACLs for the manager on
the user's mailfile.

Here is the command that is going to Notes. The manager is "Gaberial
Notes310", and the user is "Ivan Notes312", the association listed is
for Ivan Notes312.

<nds dtdversion="4.0" ndsversion="8.x">
<source>
<product edition="Advanced" version="4.0.2.5">DirXML</product>
<contact>Novell, Inc.</contact>
</source>
<input>
<modify acl-entry-level="MANAGER" acl-entry-name="CN=Gaberial
Notes310/O=UHNotest" acl-entry-usertype="PERSON" class-name="Person"
event-id="0" qualified-src-dn="O=data\OU=users\CN=Notes312"
src-dn="\UHCSIDV-TEST\data\users\Notes312" tell-adminp-process="tell
adminp process all">
<association
state="associated">AD5E7F27ECD3D5D985257F350071627 A</association>
</modify>
</input>
</nds>

The response from the Remote Loader is:

DirXML: [01/10/16 22:12:21.57]: TRACE: LotusNotes: setNotesACL: ACL
entry created for CN=Gaberial Notes310/O=UHNotest in database names.nsf
DirXML: [01/10/16 22:12:21.57]: TRACE: LotusNotes: setNotesACL: ACL
entry CN=Gaberial Notes310/O=UHNotest UserType set to 1 in database
names.nsf
DirXML: [01/10/16 22:12:21.59]: TRACE: LotusNotes: setNotesACL: ACL
entry updated for CN=Gaberial Notes310/O=UHNotest in database names.nsf
DirXML: [01/10/16 22:12:21.59]: TRACE: LotusNotes: Database ACL entry
CN=Gaberial Notes310/O=UHNotest updated

Which is updating the ACL on names.nsf, not user's mailfile
(mail/Notes312.nsf), or at least that is how I am reading it.

Is it possible to modify the ACLs of the mailfile after creation? If
so, what ACL driver attribute(s) am I missing?

Thanks,

Bob
