Hi there,
A potential client proposed the following idea and I want to check if it is even feasible. Assume the OES 2015 NSS AD component is installed and everything is working just great for Active Directory users to access their files on the OES hosted volumes as if they were on a Windows server. Can the file system and effective windows trustee assignments be copied with a tool like Double Take, to an actual Windows 2012 NTFS disk and retain the access (as if it was originally an NTFS disk)?

Based on the fact that there is a Windows Explorer extension required to manage Windows rights assignments to the NSS AD volumes, then I would NOT expect there to be an actual underlying NTFS permissions support that could be migrated by Double Take or similar. But I have to ask.
