I am having some problems with the instructions for rebuilding the sybase database. I have never done a rebuild before but another tech here has done a rebuild on this database several years ago.

Step 8 of the instructions for rebuilding the database says

Ensure that the database authentication has been set up by verifying that the database_authentication attribute in the saopts.sql file has been configured.

The saopts.sql file is located in the %ZENWORKS_HOME%\share\asa\scripts\ directory on Windows, and in the /opt/novell/zenworks/share/sybase/scripts/ directory on Linux. The database_authentication attribute is located in the following entry in the saopts.sql file:

if not exists( select * from SYS.SYSOPTION
where ucase( "option" ) = ucase( 'database_authentication' ) ) then
set option PUBLIC.database_authentication = <value>;
end if

My issue is that the entire section for database authentication is missing. I do have a section for connection_authentication however. So did maybe the instructions not update when the value changed or is something missing here?
