OK, not sure if this is doable, or if I can explain it correctly, but here goes:

For a variety of reasons that are beyond my control, there is a need to redirect the user's web browser ("one time") to an external URL and then redirect it back to a NAM AG-protected resource (that's using SAML with the NAM IDP).

So normally the URL would be say:


That URL resolves to our NAM AG, which then goes to the NAM IDP for authentication and all that jazz.

Since I know very little about "web stuff", is there a way in the NAM AG (or maybe just the URL we have in our Portal) that basically tells the browser to go to say:

and then redirects back to the app URL above?

Or is it "outside" the NAM AG scope and we just have the URL something like:
