For a while now, users have been complaining about slow saving or browsing of folders. I've noticed the same thing but very random (I don't save/browse much on our file server). Anyway, when this is happening.. users are usually sitting with an hour glass. If I check out "top" on the 2015.1 (2015 sp1?) server.. NDSD is always cranking away. Currently around 30% cpu/6% memory, fluctuates. I've tossed a ton of ram at this server (vm), and it seems to get eaten up. If I stop/restart NDSD, things seem to behave quickly for a bit. Any ideas here? Not sure what NDSD is so busy doing.. almost constantly.
