We use a default Archive Directory File Location that points to a mapped network drive. However, the setting isn't locked down so users can change it to whatever they want (it wasn't my idea). The first thing I have to do when troubleshooting an archive problem for a user is ask them what their setting is.

Can the wpdomain.db, wphost.db or userfid.db (or someplace else) be interrogated for the user's archive file location?
