Hi,

in a current project I have to use the IBM Toolbox for JAVA/JTOpen
driver to access an database on an as400 box.

I understand, that according the NetIQ documentation the driver is not
officially supported, but since it is part of the documentation we
thought it it worth a test drive ;-)

After deployment of the driver it is not possible to start it because of
the following (strange) JAVA exception.

-Message: Code(-9010) An exception occurred:
java.lang.ClassCastException: com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver
cannot be cast to com.novell.nds.dirxml.driv

at
com.novell.nds.dirxml.engine.DriverEntry.run(Drive rEntry.java:586)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:745)-

Can anybody help understanding the root of this issue and if there might
be a way to use this driver?

Thanks,

Thorsten
