NAM AG appliance version:

Front-ending Business Objects/Crystal Reports.

User goes to run a "lengthy" report, and even though the BOE server reponds and give you a "progress" type indicator (please wait while your report is running or something), the NAM AG data request timeout appears to be hit at the 2 minute mark.

Now I'm puzzled since the BOE server has responded to the data request with the progress bar indicator.

Short of jacking up the data request timeout to say, 12 minutes or something, is this normal? I would've thought that the progress bar indicator would prevent the timeout from being hit.
