Hi,
When configuring IDM 4.6 reporting, you have to setup Sentinel Log Manager on a Linux server.

You can configure the admin password and db users password during the initial setup or after using the configure.sh script.

When I launch the configure.sh script, I always get the following errors (also during initial setup)

The "admin" user is the identity used for initial and subsequent administration tasks through the Sentinel user interface, including the creation of other user
accounts.

User "admin" has an existing password.

1. Keep the existing password
2. Enter a new password

Select what you want to do [1] => 2

Enter the password for admin... =>
Confirm the password for admin: =>
Password not changed in Security Intelligence database
Error setting the password for the "" user. Check /var/opt/novell/sentinel/log/si_db.log
Password not changed in Security Intelligence database
Password not changed in Security Intelligence database
Error setting the password for the "" user. Check /var/opt/novell/sentinel/log/si_db.log

There is no error is si_db_sh.log and Sentinel server fails to start because of DB authentication fails with appuser.

Any idea ?

Thanks

Sylvain
