Hi,

I've upgraded sentinel from Sentinel 7.4.4.1.3052 to 8.1.0.1.400 along with os packages update, and noticed that firewall rules have been deleted, I mean even those default that allow access to sentinel. I was trying to compare f/w configuration using yast from another server with 7.4 still running the only difference I found is that zones were removed from all interfaces except for eth0, but when searching for sentinel services ports these seems nowhere to be found.
After searching configuration files i found that on 7.4 there are entries in : /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2

#
FW_SERVICES_EXT_TCP=" 443 8443 4984 22 61616 10013 289 1289 1468 1443 40000:41000 1290 1099 2000 1024 1590"

and probably more.

So the question here would be, how this should be managed?
Should this be managed somehow by yast, should I additional services and stuff like this? Or should i just manually enter missing lines in /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2 ?
On other hand why this has even happened ? some issue in the upgrade procedure ?

Best Regards
Daniel
