Hello,

I just experienced an issue with a SOAP driver, where the certificate for the remote service had expired. This resulted in an IOException error in the driver trace indicating just that. The problem is that the event was lost. The customer did not notice that anything was wrong for over 2 weeks. Meaning that 2 weeks of events were lost.

I know the AD driver and other drivers has built in functionality for retrying, if for example the remote loader is down or the password for the remote loader is wrong.

Is there anything for the SOAP driver that does this? Do the packages that comes with the SOAP driver do this? I did not use packages on the SOAP driver.

Do I need to code this functionality into the driver myself?

Does anyone have an example of such code?
