In one of our schools we deployed HP laptops with Intel I3 processors running Windows 10 Pro Education. They all use Novell Client 2 SP4 IR1 and have been running fine until November when windows released update KB4048955. This update, once installed, has caused the client to cease functioning. Our only remedy has been to re-install the client and then re-enter all the novell configurations on each computer. It is doubly frustrating to realize that the update is directed at computers with AMD processors which we don't have. It seems my best option is to touch each computer to hide this update before it is run. ZCm Patch Management has been less than optimal so we enabled windows updates. This demonstrates the value of good patch management. Does anyone have other solutions or an explanation for what is going on?
