We've installed NSL 8.6 with eDirectory 9.0. Currently, we've app definition for one thick client. We've stored application password on eDirectory which has escape character "\" in the password.

Now, if we check the password in the NSL client, it shows the valid password but whenever script is adding password to password-text-box, it is showing invalid. After investigation, we found that "\" is removed or taken as escape character and removed from password. We can't change the password policy as it is valid password character for enterprise.

Possible solution for this problem could be to replace string for character "\" with "\\" as escape character but unable to manipulate string on the same.

Please suggest for the possible solution.
