Apologies for the delay in communication. Okay, so your system is quite old and, therefore, won't have the issue of running an outdated client in caching mode against a much newer back end. Yes, there were changes in how caching mode worked and this did require an upgrade of the client when the back end is upgraded - perhaps just be aware of that.

There are a few things... you might want to do a Wireshark trace to see if the client is ever connecting to the server and at the same time take a look at the POA log files which must be in Verbose mode.
