You can kinda get around this by having 2 appliances clustered. You configure your load balancer or DNS to only use the appliance that has the
connectivity. The downside is that your health will always been yellow. Keep in mind that there is still communication required for the 2 appliance to
talk to each other for replication etc.

What is the issue running 2 appliances? Not having redundancy?
